Following rave reviews of last year's album, The Shipping News, expect a stunning evening of all that is good in Soul, Blues, Country and Gospel from this passionate and emotive singer songwriter and his fabulous band. Robins and his band have played around the UK to huge acclaim and this performance at the Maltings will be recorded for a live album and DVD.

Robins is an outstanding and soulful singer songwriter with albums including Spirit Within and Roll Back The Years. A 2008 Indie Award Nominee who has performed at numerous Festivals in the U.K. & Ireland including: Cambridge Folk Festival, The Edinburgh Festival, The North Devon Music Festival, The Castlebar International Blues Festival and The Westport Arts Festival.

He has opened for numerous artists including The Waterboys, Seth Lakeman, Georgie Fame and has toured with Chris Farlowe.

At London's Borderline as part of Shana Morrison's 2007 U.K. Tour they sang together on Van Morrison's 'Sometimes We Cry to great acclaim and was part of Shana's 2010 U.K. & Ireland Tour and completed a 2012 spring tour opening for Mary Coughlan and they will be touring together again in October.
